ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm James.   I'm a photographer.  But why am I photographer?

I love stories.   Stories are the foundation of the great societies we have built and is what separates us from 99.99999999% of all other living matter.  

 

To me, photography is about capturing the stories that are hidden in plain sight.   How often do you look at a photograph and wonder why you didn't see that in the moment as it passed by?

There's a beauty to the world captured in the stories of moments that are waiting all around us.

​

In a world that has absolutely filled our span of attention with social media feeds, notifications, advertisements and all kinds of other nonsense that we won't care about at the end of our days, what we need more than anything is to appreciate the wonderful stories in the moments happening all around us everyday.
